For the past twenty years, I’ve been selling transformations for our clients across numerous industries and many different audiences. It so happens that transformations are my specialty, which is why I’ve been so successful working for life coaches. It also helps that I’m also a coach and have a passion for self actualization.
It’s important to realize that successful coaches don’t selling coaching, they sell a transformation. They help solve a pain or accomplish a goal = a transformation.
Why is this important? Because in order to identify a great coaching client, you need to find that person who is committed to achieving a transformation.
For example: A man wants to lose weight not just to appease the scale, but for the result – to look better in his suit, or to be able to play better golf, or to be able to be more active with his friends and family.
Throughout my career, I’ve talked to thousands of people and have learned to quickly connect with and identify the state a person may be in. There are hundreds of potential clues of human behavior that I’m looking for each time I’m connecting with a lead – even during a phone call – that help me understand their needs, wants and desires.
By combining this experience and my love for personal transformation, I’ve been able to consistently help coaches attract their dream clients.
I get it, selling coaching (or more preferably, transformations) can be difficult. Facing rejection can be crippling, especially if your experience and confidence in this area is low.
Cold calling is an art form that I’ve been practicing my entire career. Being able to contact and connect with a potential client is something I’m extremely comfortable with. It’s also something I’m really good at.
If you’re looking to grow your coaching business, let’s talk. I’m always on the lookout for great coaches that could potentially use my help.
